1V1 COACHING (ADVANCED)
Australian coffee has some of the highest coffee standards in the world. No matter what certificate or accreditation you have as a barista, you will be hand picked by cafes purely based on your skill. Talented baristas are very difficult to find these days, so we want to make sure that you are getting the right guidance.
This is a 90 minute private lesson with a highly trained professional. Our 1 v 1 Coaching course will help you master the techniques and assist you in become the perfect barista. Run by our highly trained and skilled teachers, this course is recommended for baristas who have experience but wish to take their game to the next level.
LATTE ART
Do you struggle with inconsistent milk?
Not hitting that silky smooth, foamy texture?
You’ve come to the right place. Mastering the skill of latte art requires extreme focus and dedication. Having the ability to perform latte art will give you a much higher chance of working behind the machine in a cafe, plus your coffees might even get featured on someones ‘gram!
This is a 1 hour class with 2 students maximum per class. This allows for our trainers to focus more on the individual, whilst allowing plenty of time on the machine. Run by our highly trained and skilled teachers, this course is recommended for barista’s who have experience but wish to take their game to the next level.
BASICS
No experience at all? That’s okay! We run a ‘Basics Course’ too. If you’ve always wanted to learn about coffee and how to make coffee then this is the class for you. No matter what certificate you hold, you will be hired on your skill level! At Grounded Space we’ve trained up barista’s with 0 experience to become head barista’s who can handle up to 40kg in a working week.
This is a 90 minute lesson with a highly trained professional. Our highly skilled professionals have what it takes to get you up to scratch so you are able to confidently walk into a cafe trial and know exactly what you are doing!
D.I.Y WORKSHOPS
Got the skills to kill already and just want to practice? No worries! We have the equipment ready at your disposal: La Marzocco Linea PB – 3 Group, 2x Mazzer Automatic Coffee Grinders, Puqpress, Tamper, Adore Jay-5 Coffee Beans, Paul’s Professional Full Cream (Highly Recommended for practicing Latte Art).
This is a 1 hour session behind closed doors. These can be solo or in groups of two so you can bring a barista-buddy!
